I never thought I’d open one of these with a reference to a banger of a tune from the wonderful Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam , but I’m trying to find the words to describe my club without being disrespectful.
We all seen that Lawwell apology yesterday right ?
There was indeed an apology, followed by four minutes of trying to justify why they felt compelled to travel to Dubai, before peddling the myth that this pandemic has hit Celtic the hardest, more than any other club in the country!
I won’t even list the reasons why that’s an insulting message, not to mention an outright lie.
So the Dubai trip was sanctioned and cost a couple of hundred thousand pounds, there’s a half baked apology, and the next day we then furlough our under 18’s.
Celtic have put their under-18 academy players on the government furlough scheme. Full story in today’s @ScotMailSport
