Unless you’ve been living under a rock this weekend, and believe me that lifestyle is very appealing in this climate we’re in just now, then you’ll have seen the latest news that a Celtic player has tested positive for COVID and will miss the game against Hibs. The rumours of who it is have started and the Whatsapp Groups will already be in overdrive, but it doesn’t help when the club themselves didn’t identify who it was and instead, yet again, have not been transparent in the slightest.
Celtic today confirmed that one player has recorded a positive test for covid-19. Clearly the player will receive all our care and full support.

All other members of our squad, management team and backroom squad are negative.
The club now have to wait from Scottish Government approval on whether more players and staff at the club will have to isolate as a result of this.
The Scottish government has said it will decide later whether or not self-isolation guidance for travellers from Dubai will apply to players from Celtic football club https://t.co/g4p8AE5prB

Yes, there’s also the small matter of a game against Hibs too, which we cover as well as firing off a shoot prediction.
Team news ahead of the game will be on the site later, if it’s going ahead.
