It’s been a hectic 24 hours at Celtic, starting with everyone in a meltdown this time last night, to being more relaxed and satisfied in general that we have made a new signing to boost the squad ahead of the new season.
Let’s start with the most recent news - Benjamin Siegrist signed for the club an hour or so ago, and here’s what he said on Celtic TV
️ "It’s a hugely proud moment, and everything I’ve always wanted to be – at a top environment, at a top team and it simply can’t get any better than this."— Celtic Football Club (@CelticFC) June 21, 2022

Good luck to him at Celtic, and here’s one of those stupid youtube compilations with the crap music to truly welcome him into the team.
Elsewhere it looks like we’ve agreed a fee with Lanus for Alexandro Bernabei, according to Anthony ‘R’ Joseph.
UPDATE: Celtic have made a breakthrough in talks with Lanus today in a bid to sign left-back Alexandro Bernabei.— Anthony Joseph (@AnthonyRJoseph) June 21, 2022
The clubs have agreed a £3.75m deal in principle. https://t.co/tBqpQMJaKc
Indeed, it’s apparent he’s on his way to Glasgow, going by this video alone of him saying farewell to his team-mates.

It wasn’t very cheery last night however when the fans, including this lazy writer, had a breakdown at THAT Fabrizio Romano tweet.
Croatian national team right back Josip Juranovic is expected to leave Celtic FC this summer as many clubs are following him. #transfers— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) June 20, 2022
Jurankvic is attracting interests from Premier League clubs too after great season for club and country.
However, this one from Izak ‘Ante’ Sucic filled us all with a bit more hope than the effort from the once beloved but now maligned DOOMSAYER ITALIAN.
BOOOM!— Ižak Ante Sučić (@IASucic) June 21, 2022
Josip Juranovic to @premierleague? Right now - No! As per our sources, Jura is happy in @CelticFC, he's plays regular and in less then a year he become fans favourite. Also, he doesn't want to jeopardize his chances for WC in Qatar. Celtic wants at least £15m for Jura.
67HH’s article on what Juranovic said regarding his future should re-assure people this is likely the work of a greedy agency looking to negotiate a better deal with the club via the tap in merchant of transfers to work many fans into a shoot.
Hopefully he doesn’t leave tomorrow and I don’t look like an idiot.
