Internationals over - now it’s all about Celtic. At last!

We had an absolutely nightmarish couple of weeks with our players involving in seemingly endless Nations League games, but, finally, they are over and our big dogs can rest and re-energise themselves for the season ahead.

Callum Mcgregor and Greg Taylor helped Scotland to a 4-1 win away in Yerevan, although the result was heavily aided by the home side going down to ten men a few minutes before half time.

The main thing is, hopefully McGregor is rested for a few weeks and rejoins the side in the best possible condition after completing three ninety minute games for his country in six days.

In other news, NOT LONG NOW. The SPFL fixtures announcements for 22/23 are only days away.

The fixtures for the four professional leagues in Scotland will be published on June 17th at 9am.

The Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two all begin on July’s final weekend over the 30th and 31st.

The traditional moaning about conspiracies, masonic grand plans and SUPERCOMPUTERS cheating should be a good laugh as always.

We will probably have some reaction to them in video form on GIGPOD INSTAGRAM as well, so tune in there if you haven’t already.

And of course, we’ll record our ‘A-Z’ of 21-22 tomorrow night as well!

Still plenty of content coming your way, as Celtic are nearing a return!
