Robert “Bobby” Madden named as ref for Hampden

It’s better than getting John Beaton, but that’s not saying a lot is it?

Yes everyone, Open Goal and Instagram ‘celeb’ ref Robert ‘Bobby’ Madden was named as the man in the middle for the semi final against Rangers in eleven days time.

Now, he’s been the ref at Hampden before in a semi final against them, and even gave us two penalties, albeit they were stonewallers!

No doubt he’ll see it as a challenge to even that up though!
