First and foremost, we have a game tomorrow against Alloa, and Hamish has another great video, previewing the match with an Alloa supporter and giving his predicted XI. Jota on a plastic pitch ? Is he as outrageous as he looks ? Well, we’ll find out tomorrow. It’s below anyway.
Elsewhere earlier today, there was a presser today and as per usual, a couple of fan media outlets connected with Celtic were invited along, in this instance it was ourselves at GIGPOD and the great chaps at PODTIMS.
The first question posed to Ange from Fan Media was regarding the quick and efficient nature of our January signings. We wanted to find out if Ange was driving this, as I think we can all agree it has been extremely refreshing to see Celtic identify a player, get them signed and then settled into the team as quickly as possible. The manager elaborates on that below.
First question for Ange was centred around the quick and efficient business in recruiting our recent signings, and how big a role he's played in that.

He went onto stress the importance of concluding a deal quickly and how he's not patient enough to let one drag out either. pic.twitter.com/e58AljsRiY
The second one posed to our leader was simply regarding fans being back, the buzz on Monday night and how the energy of the crowds at the football can help drive the team on for the second half of the season.
He compared Monday night to Christmas!
Also asked the manager about the energy the fans can create going into the second half of the season and the relief of no 'covidball' for the forseeable.

Ange says he hasn't seen supporters buzzing for a game on a Monday night like that before and is glad for the return of fans. pic.twitter.com/kc3OiA7D6A
The final question about the club’s duty of care to help the new players settle in from a new culture was fantastic from the Podtims lads, which you can check below.

At todays Alloa Press Conference we asked Ange to let us know what Celtic do to help new signings settle in at the club
He spoke about the appointment of Liaison Officers to help them settle and his own experience of moving across the world

Alloa reaction podcast unlikely from ourselves, but we’ll be back after the Hearts game, with Stevie also on 67HH, so it will most definitely be a Reidzo/Spunkphone show again!
