Celtic’s good news season keeps on coming and I’m here to report on it, you’ll be delighted to hear.

Neil Lennon stated that defender Chris Jullien is going to be out for another six to nine months.

That’s all we need, and an even bigger recruitment job for the summer, and it’s a nightmare for the player himself, who is a real asset to the club when he is fully fit.

This also poses problems with the CL qualifiers upon is very quickly after the season ends, and the fact that we will need to identify new players almost immediately to have them ready for those matches.

There was also an update on James Forrest’s progress from the manager:

“He’ll be fit enough when the Euros come around, and hopefully he’ll have enough games to put himself in people’s thinking,” he said.

“In terms of the timescale, he’s had a wee bit of a setback in his rehab so we’ll keep an eye on that and scrutinise it as closely as we can.

We’ll keep you updated on any other laughs before the Ross County game at the weekend.
