It's the Monday round-up - let's go
- The big news is that Celtic have been drawn to play Rangers in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup, the game to be played the weekend of April 22-23
- We booked our place in the semi-final with a 4-1 victory over St Mirren, which featured a poor first half performance and an excellent second half performance, read our match report and player ratings
- Brendan Rodgers was full of praise for St Mirren after the game
- As it's OLD FIRM...sorry, GLASGOW DERBY week, look out for a new series on the site this week where we look at five of the more unheralded victories over Rangers that some people may have forgotten about
- ON THIS DAY: In 2005, Celtic closed the gap on Rangers at the top of the league by defeating Hibs 3-1 at Easter Road, in what was our best performance for an age. Stan Petrov opened the scoring, before John Hartson prodded in the second. A solo goal by the outstanding Craig Bellamy finished the game as a contest, although Hibs did pull a goal back late on. Oh, and Craig Bellamy and Gary Caldwell got into a 'fracas' after the game. Highlights are below
