THE BIG STORY: Scott Brown was just as impressed as the rest of us were with Celtic’s 3-0 demolition of Aberdeen on Wednesday night, stating that it was ‘one of the best wins in Aberdeen we’ve ever had’.

Our very own onlylovehh agrees with this, and yesterday he wrote about how the performance can positively affect Celtic’s upcoming games in the Champions League - which you can read here - and the player ratings for the game - which feature an unprecedented THREE players rated 9 out of 10 - can be found here.

OTHER NEWS: The beat goes on though, and Celtic are in league action against Kilmarnock tomorrow at Celtic Park. We’ll have news from Brendan Rodgers press conference and a match preview on the site later on.

Celtic’s match against Partick Thistle which was due to be played on Betfred Cup Final weekend has now been moved to the 20th of December, meaning that Celtic will play a total of nine games in December, weirdly enough we only have five games in November.

ON THIS DAY: In 2013, a winning goal from Amido Balde - remember him? - gave Celtic the three points in a 2-1 over Partick Thistle at Firhill. Georgios Samaras scored Celtic’s other goal.

In 2001 Joos Valgaeren bundled home a 92nd minute winner against Kilmarnock to earn Celtic a hard-fought 1-0 win at Celtic Park.

In 1979 a Roddie MacDonald header won the day at Celtic Park in a 1-0 win over Rangers.
