Celtic-Aberdeen Player Ratings

Moussa Dembele was in superb form last night

Celtic player ratings from last night’s terrific win over Aberdeen:

Craig Gordon - 6: Practically had nothing to do aside from a few early saves, his distribution is still a concern at times though

Mikael Lustig - 7: Solid at the back and did well coming forward

Nir Bitton - 7: Probably his best game in defence for Celtic, was very calm and composed

Dedryck Boyata - 7: Mostly strolled through the game, nice assist for Celtic’s third goal too

Kieran Tierney - 9: Fantastic display by KT, scored the first goal with a thunderbolt and his cross for the second goal was sublime, arguably his best performance for Celtic

Scott Brown - 8: Controlled the midfield as he usually does

Stuart Armstrong - 6: Linked up well with the midfield, really should have scored early in the second half

James Forrest - 6: Played well enough to justify his selection, missed a very good chance at 2-0 to kill the game

Tom Rogic - 9: Outstanding performance from the man Aberdeen can’t handle, his passing and movement is the best in Scottish football

Callum McGregor - 6: Was always lurking in a dangerous position when Celtic went forward, had a decent game

Moussa Dembele - 9: Bullied the Aberdeen defence all night, scored another two goals to show why he’s the main striker at Celtic

Substitutes:

Scott Sinclair - 5: Came on when the game had turned into a training session, he did ok enough

Jonny Hayes - n/a: On too late to have any real impact in the game

Leigh Griffiths - n/a: Same as Hayes, although he did put a brilliant cross into the box late on with no takers
