Celtic V Partick Thistle - Dream line up & Shoot Prediction

There are three things guaranteed in life - death, taxes and Celtic bodying Partick Thistle.

The Jags last win over us was back in 1995, and there’s no chance they will be changing that dreadful record this evening at Celtic Park.

Who do you find more attractive ? Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson ? TJDS readers, I feel so confident in Celtic smashing Partick Thistle that I can waste your time by rating the superhunks!

It’s surely time for an opportunity for Callum McGregor and Odsonne Edouard to be rested tonight, with there also being no reason to play Jullien and Ajer at the back together.

Greg Taylor coming in and resting Boli would be a wise move too, but this is Celtic who seem insistent on constantly playing our best players at all times, even in these games which are already done and dusted before a ball is kicked.

Ideally my Celtic team tonight would be :

Gordon, Bauer, Frimpong, Ajer, Taylor, Brown, Kouassi, Shved, Christie, Elyounoussi, Bayo.

That certainly is highly unlikely to be the side though, for reasons unknown.

SHOOT PREDICTION : Celtic 5-0 Partick Thistle

Boom

Good call on the score. Only caught the second half, but that was some fun football to watch. And the scary thing for the rest of the league is that was Celtic making eight changes and playing some guys who we haven’t seen in awhile (Sincy, Rogic, Hendry? Didn’t realize he was even close to the squad).

I think Sinclair will still play a role this year. His reaction to the goal was priceless and he can still help Celtic this year. Frimpong also looked great and can help going forward and will only get better each year. Also good to see Bayo get a goal credited to him after the Hearts fiasco. No one in Scotland can compete with our starting XI and we can field a second XI that would win the league.

Let’s take care of business in a league cup semi preview this weekend and then we owe Cluj a pounding next week.
