St Mirren V Celtic - Preview & Shoot

After an ‘unconvincing’ GUFFAW win away to Ross County on Saturday, Celtic are on the road again tomorrow, not too far from ‘Parkers’ as we take on Smurn in Paisley.

The Buddies lost heavily at home to Hibs at the weekend, and it’ll take a miracle for them to even get a point against us, but nevertheless, stranger things have happened. For example, I actually brushed my teeth this morning.

For the visitors, they don’t need to rely on that idiot from Hearts they had to get in as an emergency measure on Saturday at least, as Peter Urminsky has been given the go ahead to play after having to self isolate with the COVID nonsense which hampered them recently.

St Mirren are charging £12.50 on their website to watch the game, and to be honest, that’s not the worst deal to pay for, although if you shell out money for that, having paid £15 for the Ross County game at the weekend, it’ll all add up, and you may as well go all out and get a season ticket for another team if you’re going to go in two footed financially just to watch us until we’re allowed to get back to the stadiums, although Nippy doesn’t seem like she’ll be budging on that decision anytime soon.

Celtic shouldn’t be overthinking tomorrow’s game. The team that started at Ross County should be the eleven for tomorrow. Keep it consistent and start fluently. If we do the basics right, a bad team like St Mirren will be bodied pretty quickly.

I cannot see anything other than another convincing win for the leather belts, so I’ll go with 4-1 to us.
