‘Here where are this mob from?’

‘Hungary’

‘Naw, I had breakfast already mate’

There’s a wee bit of obvious patter to get us started for the day.

It’s a crucial one tonight against Budapest outfit Ferencvaros, in the Champions League.

Usually I’d be patronising and assume we’ll skoosh it easily but tonight will be tricky.

Want to know more about our opponents? Read a thread here that isn’t pompous or full of self importance.

Champ manager legend Sergei Rebrov is their manager and has led them to successive titles, with their 2-0 win over Djurgardens being a total formality to get them to this point.

Odsonne Edouard is expected to recover from a slight thigh knock to start.

Malaga trip legend Boli Bolingo’s self-isolation is over, and I hope we start him for a laugh.

A shoot prediction for this is tough. I reckon we’ll win, but it won’t be easy and for once I’ll respect the other team.

Hopefully I can write tomorrow about how wrong I was, and we win 6-0 though.

It’s a 7.45pm kick off and it’s on PREMIER SPORTS 1.
