Motherwell V Celtic - Shoot Prediction

This will be, and I mean this, a tough game.

BREAKING: I do not think we will win 20-0 tonight!

This may be, a difficult game. Motherwell are most certainly the best of the jobbers outwith Rangers, and will be right up for this one tonight, looking to bounce back from their defeat at the Anthony Macaroni Superdrome.

At the same time, we have already went to Fir Park and smashed them 5-2 earlier in the season, and we’ll be buoyant from our heroic win in Lanarkshire at the weekend.

Jonny Hayes will be assessed ahead of the game. The Hoops utility player sustained a calf injury at Hamilton on Sunday.

Mohamed Elyounoussi and Jozo Simunovic are back in contention but Jeremie Frimpong (knock), Hatem Abd Elhamed (groin), Nir Bitton (knock) and Mikey Johnston (knee) remain out.

Lenny Bhoy has said:

“All teams are hungry and it’s all relative. Our motivation is to defend everything as vigorously as possible. People think it’s easy - it’s not. Teams are out to beat you every single week.

”People set up to be difficult to break down but we’ve found a way. The quality of the football has been superb at times and we’re in a good place at the minute.”

I think we’ll avoid defeat tonight, while I would not be surprised to see the YCV slip up further, as Sunday pretty much secured nine in a row. A seven point lead, even with them having a game in hand, is too much for them, and with the pressure off us a bit, we’ll be able to relax from here until the end of the season.

Regardless, Odsonne and co will have too much for Motherwell and the shoot prediction is:

Motherwell 1-3 Celtic
