After another routine cup win, we’re now back to league business and we welcome the jobbers from the capital to Celtic Park.
Of course, both Hearts and Hibs are pathetic jokes at the moment, however it’s Daniel Stendel’s struggling idiots who make the trip to Glasgow this evening for what will be, you’d assume, a very miserable evening for them.
‘Stendelball’ was in full flow, apparently, when Hearts became our Brothers In Arms last month and beat Rangers 2-1, in a game that pretty much ended their title challenge.
However, claims that Hearts ‘were back’ are extremely premature after a 3-3 draw at McDairmid Park against the biggest losers in the league, and Kilmarnock beat them at Tynecastle after that. They did beat Falkirk in the Scottish Cup right enough, keeping a clean sheet in the process, so we can’t underestimate them! Laughs loudly
Bear in mind, they also haven’t won at Celtic Park in more than a decade, coupled with the fact we’re battering teams without even getting out of third gear just now, it doesn’t bode well for the Jambos.
For Celtic, as always, the team we put out will be the same as always I suspect, although I hope to see Mo Elyounoussi starting on the left, and I know it was only Clyde at the weekend, but he looked sharp enough. A half fit Elyounoussi is enough to smash this Hearts team anyway.
A win again tonight just solidifies our assault towards the nine, and we just look unstoppable at the minute, especially with Edouard so on form for us, and well done to him winning the player of the month award the other day.
TJDS SHOOT PREDICTION:
