Scotland put up a resistance last night that even the ghost of Slobodan Milosevic and his Yugoslav People’s Army would not have been able to break down, and fully deserved the eventual penalty shootout win that sent the Serbs packing and our lads into the Euros next year!
We’ll be doing a podcast on GIGPOD about it over the weekend, breaking down the performances and triumphs of match winner Ryan Christie, and the return to form of the excellent Callum McGregor.
On the show we’ll talk about :
Ryan Christie’s fine goal, and his future as a Celtic player.
Callum McGregor’s tremendous midfield display, and how he was a different player when Scott Brown wasn’t beside him.
Ex Celtic goalkeeper David Marshall’s heroics in goal
Former left back Kieran Tierney’s assured display
And Leigh Griffiths suffering at the hands of ambulance chasers.
