As ever, on the week of a derby game, a fat loudmouthed boor with the arrogance of a Conservative MP when being interviewed by Kay Burley has piped up with another opinion that no one really cared about.
I’m not referring to myself for once but rather Kristian ‘Kris’ Commons.

Now, to be fair to him, he’s actually right to an extent, in that the game is going to be eerie.
In many ways, I wish it was postponed and played at a time when the fans could go and spout bile and hatred like it’s meant to be done, right in the face of Alfredo Morelos, with him giving it back to us of course.
He then goes onto say that no fans will work against Celtic.
The same Celtic who are still unbeaten domestically, and who have cantered to success in every game at the fan-less Celtic Park ? Okay, no bother!
Rangers under Gerrard have never been humiliated at ‘Parkers’. They have lost narrowly, twice, and won there too in front of a capacity crowd, so this angle where no fans is some advantage to them is a nonsense, and I actually think the game will lose it’s edge that fans there provide to keep all of them on their toes during the fixture.
Kristian Commons knows that all he has to do is mention Celtic negatively, it’ll be spun by an editor who knows how to work the marks on the internet, and our fans will click the link and share it, meaning yet again, he’s paid for his fifteen minutes of writing and the likes of the Daily Record and The Sun will make their target of hits once again to stay in business.
It’s textbook and the outrage will never end.
Anyway here’s Commons best patter when he was a Celtic player below.
