Charles Nicholas wants a reaction and is working a work.

I would ask that people stop going overboard with the Charles ‘Charlie’ Nicholas ranting today after his work about Odsonne Edouard.

It’s provoked such a reaction that even the big man himself has responded to the Sky Sports pundit’s article.

There is no substance to Charlie Bhoy’s piece other than to noise people up, gain clicks and earn himself some money, and everyone reacting to it only ensures his noise up is working a charm, and he’ll certainly be saying job done at his end.

Nicholas doesn’t care if Edouard goes tonto after a goal or not, he’ll have seen him go wild at Tynecastle, or smugly patronise Rangers fans at Ibrox at the start of the month, he knows fine well what he’s doing and so should you.

Although, I do agree with Nicholas in that Dembele is a better player, but that speaks volumes about Edouard getting compared to him so early in his career, and if he keeps going the way he is with us, he’ll get to Moussa’s level very quickly.

This will just give Odsonne more attention anyway, so Charlie, thank you.
