Cluj V Celtic - The details.

With tomorrow’s crunch game against the Romanians looming, it’s time for me to do some key details on the game, so let’s get wired in.

‘Where can I watch this game?’

If you aren’t at the match, because your surname is not ending in The Tim, it’s on TV. Premier Sports 1.

‘What time’s the kick off ? ‘

7pm. So expect Premier Sports to show the game with a minute or so warning.

‘I’m ignorant. What are this mob like?’

That’s alright, I’m ignorant as well and expect us to win by a few, but Cluj are like us, qualifying for the Champions League now and then, but nowhere near big dog status to do anything but cause the odd group stage upset. They did beat Man Utd at Old Trafford in 2012, but that counts for nothing now, with a completely different team and the Red Devils took their foot off the gas in that match too, having already qualified.

‘How did they get to this round?’

By beating everyone’s favourite jobbers Astana, and then seeing off Maccabi Tel Aviv. They’re unbeaten at home so far in the competition, but unlike us, haven’t won on their travels yet, which doesn’t bode well for them next week at a no doubt packed Celtic Park.

‘Their league form alright or are they idiots domestically?’

They drew on the opening day of the season, but are now joint top of the Romanian league after three wins in a row, so no, they do not seem to be idiots like Sarajevo or the hopeless Nomme Kalju, but they are still a team we should be looking to beat with no one in their team likely to get a game for us, even at left back.

‘How, who do they actually have that stands out?’

Dunno, an old Argentinian guy who is meant to be alright but that’s it.

‘Is there a shoot prediction since you are always right with them?’

There sure is. Cluj 1-2 Celtic.

‘TJDSBlog, thank you.’

No problem.
