Celtic STAR Ryan Christie has been involved in a furious STORM over hit TV show Love Island.

The Sun have broke the news here.

‘CELTIC ace Ryan Christie has accused Love Island’s Anna of “double standards” after she yelled at Michael for dumping Amber - despite her ditching Jordan to be with new boy Ovie’

Sources at Celtic Park have revealed that hoops gaffer Neil Lennon, a big Anna fan, is said to be ‘furious’ with the midfield ACE.

‘Neil enjoys Anna’s intellect and insight, especially her opinions on the famine in Ethiopia of 1983-1985 so he’s taken it hard and I can’t see a way back for Ryan’ an unnamed insider has revealed.

Posting on Twitter, he said: “Anna is absolutely at it. She’s just patched Jordan and then is fuming at Michael for doing the exact same thing?! Double standards as usual.”

This misogyny is likely to raise serious questions about Christie’s future and a donation to The Equality Trust is imminent.

It’s unfortunate that he has voiced this concern about a female, but not a man at Love Island HQ, on a night when Alex Morgan was criticised heavily for having a laugh. No one wants to see this happening in 2019.

More as we get it, but it’s a huge disappointment for a player who was destined for big things after breaking through with Celtic last season, and his ill fated opinion on the Casa Amor female seems set to be his final contribution while employed by the club.

Love Island is on ITV at 9pm and I’ve never seen any of it.
