Ntcham scandal update & Lustig leaving Celtic ?

The fitba may have finished for Celtic, hence the lack of updates with no one really wanting the most banal of information, but the patter keeps on giving, with the ongoing furore around Olivier Ntcham unfollowing his team-mates on Instagram and Mikael Lustig apparently criticising the way we’re managed.

First, let’s talk about the most recent issue that is the Lustig developments.

Here’s a cracking thread about what’s going on

Reading between the lines, it seems he’s unhappy about the contract he’s been offered and is playing the game in public, leaving the ball in Celtic’s court. We shall see what happens there this week.

The Ntcham carry on is something else too. The way dedicated disciplines of social media have noticed the big man’s ‘following’ numbers going down, and relentlessly investigating on a Sunday night is to be respected. Incredible commitment.

The revisionism that followed was also to be expected, that ‘on his day he’s our best player’ and all that crap, when he’s had a dismal season, with bottling it from Andy Halliday in a tackle being an undeniable low for him.

I have no doubt he’ll get his move (Marseille I bet) and all the best to him when it happens on deadline day, as it’ll be a SAGA as always.

And yes, the ‘best of Olivier Ntcham - a thread’ videos on Twitter will be getting uploaded within seconds of his departure. Book it!
