The worst kept secret in football is set to be put to an end this afternoon, when Neil Lennon is announced as the new manager of Celtic.
I expect many people who lost the nut last weekend, to continue this trend over the weekend, before the fifth stage of grief kicks in eventually and the overwhelming majority can only accept the appointment.
There will be a proper analysis of Lennon’s appointment on the site soon.
One of his signings could be David Turnbull, who is heavily linked with Celtic.
Coupled with the apparent capture of Stephen O’Donnell, you’d like to think our scouting was adventurous to go beyond Scotland, but we’ll see in due course.
