So it’s been an eventful few days.
As always, instead of just straight shooting on the managerial situation, and the timing of it after another treble win, I decided to take some ‘me time’ and let everyone else lose the nut.
Actually the truth is my head was splitting and I’ve no been well but the doctor said it’s terminal so there’s some good news early into this article.
Now, Neil Lennon hasn’t accepted Celtic’s job offer officially yet, but after he sobers up and enjoys his days off you would have to assume he’ll be our new manager by the weekend.
Formalities will have to be ironed out, and Garry Parker seems set to return as his number two.
“Parker has been out of work since he and Lennon left Hibs under a cloud of controversy in January this year.”
Yeah, no shit!
A player he won’t have available, maybe thankfully as snidey as it sounds, is Emilio Izaguirre who decided to knock back the club’s offer of a contract extension. If he is still free in the summer, I’ll assume he’ll be back for the start of the season, especially if Paul The Tim is moonlighting as his agent.
The site will still be updating throughout the close season, especially with key developments. Nothing major though, and a lot of people hopefully take a day off with working themselves into a shoot about the manager situation until we know key details such as;
Potential signings, departures, the transfer budget, our European opponents and if Neil himself will be joining Twitter again.
