St Mirren V Celtic

A tricky one tonight.

Celtic travel to Paisley fresh from bodying Rangers yet again, and on paper it seems like a dawdle tonight.

The game, sadly for us, is not played on paper and St Mirren are fighting for their lives, so it’ll be a hard fought game and for once..........I do not think we will romp to a 5-0 win.

If we score first, it’s game over and I cannot see the Buddies recovering from a goal down, but if they manage to get their noses in front, they’ll defend in numbers and this Celtic team struggle to break that sort of tactic down as we’ve seen under Neil Lennon in recent weeks, last minute winners or not, it can’t go on forever.

There’s rumours that Marvin Compper will be starting tonight, and that stuns me but it’s good to see us preparing for next season already with the friendlies in April.

Kieran Tierney and Dedryck Boyata will be out for the Hoops this evening, and we’ll provide updates with the starting line up on the timeline as per.
