Aberdeen 0-3 Celtic.
The Shoot Prediction delivered yet again from this mastermind at TJDS, and it was never in doubt.
However, just how painfully poor the Pittodrie outfit performed was quite remarkable.
Celtic could have played a roll and bacon in goals and we’d have still ran out comfortable winners in any case.
From the moment Callum McGregor outpaced Max Lowe in the first minute and cut a ball across goal which was cleared, the tone was set, and Aberdeen had no match for it at all.
Granted, they were missing key players, but their style of play was an embarrassment and I was disappointed we did not put a few more past them.
In all my years watching Celtic, I’ve seen us batter some really bad teams, and expected it, but Aberdeen’s contribution to yesterday’s game was laughable.
Competitive ? They couldn’t even spell it.
Anyway - well done to Celtic for a thoroughly professional disposal job and it’ll be Hearts we face in just over a month’s time again at Hampden for the Scottish Cup Final.
Build up to that nearer the time of course, but just like Motherwell last season, I don’t expect them to be able to stop the Treble Juggernaut.
