Celtic V Rennes - A skoosh imo

It’s Europa League duty for us on Thursday, and seeing as we’ve already qualified from the group, we should patronise Rennes by playing the weakest team possible and save ourselves for tougher games in the league, for what will be a GRUELLING run in.

Yes, money has been paid by fans to see us perform to the best of our abilities, however, in the grand scheme of things, Thursday is a write off, and the cash shelled out to watch Cluj and Lazio being picked off with ease, many will agree, was worth the admission price alone.

I’ll do a shoot prediction tomorrow, but we should be relaxed going into this game as Rennes are very inconsistent, and will likely go to pieces at Celtic Park.

They lost 2-1 away to Dijon on Saturday, and are sitting in 11th place in the French league. SAD!

They have one point from four games in the Europa league group, and are officially OUT of contention to qualify.

They’ll already be demoralised before a ball is kicked, and we’ll beat them no bother in my opinion.
