Celtic V St Johnstone preview

And Scott Brown’s signed a new deal. I thought he was ‘done’ ! Minds are changed yet again!

Celtic have the chance to go six points clear at the top tonight if they can take care of Thomas ‘Tommy’ Wright’s St Johnstone, who are usually cannon fodder for us, but then again so are most teams at Celtic Park this season.

In reality, there should be no problem with taking three points this evening, and our January fixtures have been very kind to us indeed.

Defender Filip Benkovic is out as reported on the site yesterday.

Tom Rogic has returned from international duty with Australia but will not be involved, while Dedryck Boyata , Anthony Ralston , Olivier Ntcham, Odsonne Edouard and Kieran Tierney still remain sidelines with knocks.

However, Oliver Burke should be involved and I wouldn’t rule out a goal or two from him against a team who should be unable to handle the big man’s power and pace.

Shoot Prediction: Celtic 3-1 St Johnstone.

Oh, and Scott Brown looks like he’s going to stay at Celtic, despite everyone saying he’d be away after that game at Ibrox, with one eye on Australia during that match.

One day the Jackanory CSC will get it right!
