According to BBC Sport, and the ITK CSC, Celtic are going to potentially make a bid for highly rated Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.
I suspect this all depends on what happens with Dedryck Boyata.
If we do indeed pander to the Belgian, he’ll become a mainstay in defence for us after being re-introduced gently after a few substitute appearances.
If he does indeed get his wish and leaves Celtic, we’ll probably bid for him.
Now, we know Celtic love to low-ball teams domestically and offer the bare minimum, with patronising the likes of Hibs in installments, so it’s fair to say Aberdeen will not be getting anywhere near the £10m they rate McKenna at.
What we’ll get him for, if we are successful, is a fee just short of £2m and Ryan Christie being offered permanently.
Book it.
