At long last, Celtic have made their move for John McGinn and today Hibs have rejected the £1.5m bid for their prized midfielder.
Kenny Macintyre broke the news last night, putting an end to weeks of speculation and guesswork that Celtic would make the first steps towards landing a player who is surely an eventual replacement for Scott Brown.
Hibs value their star man at ‘substantially’ more than £1.5m, and we’re sure July will be a month of back and forth between us and Hibs, as the two clubs try and agree a fee for McGinn.
Shoot Prediction: We’ll end up paying just over £3m for him.
