In the unlikely event that Celtic won’t beat Rangers on Sunday, many fingers will be pointed towards the direction of the fans in the Broomloan, Scott Sinclair, Jozo Simunovic or even......Brendan Rodgers. Wait until I pick myself up off the floor!
However the blame card has now been passed to a small but majestic figure who will take part in the game and will surely be at fault if we don’t leave Ibrox with three points.
I am not referring to myself, but rather William ‘Willie’ Collum who has been given the task to award us a couple of penalties at the weekend.
Collum put in a sterling performance the last time he was the ref between the two sides when we walked over the top of Rangers at Hampden in last season’s semi final in the Scottish Cup and yes, even awarded Scott Sinclair one of countless penalties last season in this particular game, which clinched the match for us.
We haven’t had a penalty this season against our rivals so we’re sure Willie Bhoy will do the business for us on Sunday.
He’s one of our own after all!
