I wasn’t about to do the official shoot prediction for Hearts on Friday there due to work commitments, but I was going to say we’d win 5-0 anyway so that’s two in a row for me. Don’t quote this with a lying emoji face to your pals, it’s a shoot.
Celtic smashed Hearts with ease on Saturday and the Edinburgh side’s season is all but over, as you can imagine they will be pumped out of the Scottish Cup early doors in a couple of months as well. A wee shame for them, but the next game at Tynecastle should be their big final you’d suspect, although chances are we’ll be about twenty points clear of everyone else by then.
Regardless of how impressive we were yet again to cap off a fine week for us, we MUST take this momentum into Thursday against Leipzig, and put an end to this flat track bully patter against the Scottish sides, but then predictably going to pieces against other teams who have a striker worth more than a few hundred grand in their personnel.
One of Leipzig’s strikers is Timo Werner, who is definitely falls into that category, and the young German international bagged a couple of goals as the energy drink moguls won 3-0 away to Hertha Berlin, who are no dafties themselves.
Build up on the site this week ahead of the game.
