Celtic stars flourish for Scotland despite KT loss

It’s taken a while, but on Saturday - at long last - Scotland finally clicked and played how we all know they can by taking apart Albania in ruthless fashion - with Celtic’s key midfielders vital to the performance.

With Callum McGregor orchestrating the play in midfield, Ryan Christie’s hassling and harrying of the opposition and the sensational end product of James Forrest, Scotland more than deserved their 4-0 win.

Forrest’s second goal was marvellous, with his touch and finish of the highest quality and it’s an example of how much he’s came on leaps and bounds since the second half of last season for Celtic when he took his game to the next level.

Even the defence managed to cope without KT there and kept a clean sheet.

Here’s hoping tomorrow night is a repeat performance for the national team!
