Is there really any point in Dundee turning up tomorrow ?
If they don’t show up, at least Celtic are automatically awarded a 3-0 win. If they do, it could be a complete horsing and one which they may never recover from, with relegation already looking like a certainty so far.
Usually I back Celtic every week on here, no matter who we’re playing because if I predict we’ll lose, and we don’t, I’ll get completely rinsed as a ‘bad fan’ and a ‘cynical moron’ whereas if I’m too optimistic there’s a get out clause of being a ‘right good tim’.
Tomorrow’s game is surely the biggest formality of all time you’d have to think.
Dundee could be managed by Godrey Jones tomorrow, as they are at ROCK BOTTOM , shipping seven goals without return in the last two matches, so it’s good that they’re up against a Celtic side rampant at the weekend and in buoyant mood having secured their place in yet another final.
As for us, we have to start Ryan Christie - that’s surely a no brainer.
Would I start Scott Sinclair ? No but the manager probably will.
Sinclair’s been at his best coming off the bench this season and making an impact. Whenever he’s started, I have felt he’s lacked the same impetus as he has when he’s not been in the first eleven.
To be honest , we could probably play anyone who replies to this in goals and up front and do the damage tomorrow.
Shoot Prediction: Dundee 0-5 Celtic.
