Celtic are back, for another month.

International breaks have been going for a number of years, but this year seems like they’re neverending - perhaps because they quite literally are hampering our momentum this season domestically.

Nonetheless, there’s only one more to go and then McLeish and the SFA’s latest mishaps can be put to the back of our minds until March 2019.

I’m a mark for Scotland and love to see the national team do well, especially the Celtic players involved, but recently, it’s became a dirge, and it’s all down to the top beaks as per usual sucking the life out of everything connected with it. From tickets in meaningless friendlies priced at £30, to calling up guys clearly miles out of their depth who offer very little in a Scotland jersey, it’s really no wonder people have stopped caring. It’s depressing, but it’s the truthful state of affairs that we’re in.

Anyway, we’re back again, this time at home to a team who caused us a lot of problems last season in Neil Lennon’s Hibs.

The good news - they don’t have John McGinn anymore.

The bad news - neither do we !

Build up to Saturday’s game will be on the site this week of course.

Meanwhile, City Watch tweeted that Celtic have six weeks to give on-loan Man City winger Daniel Arzani a game for us. It should be interesting to see what happens here before Christmas. Will Rodgers cave to this ? Or will it be Musonda 2.0 and Celtic correctly phasing out these ridiculous loan deals to develop EPL teams players surely to satisfy Peter Lawwell’s son ?

Come the dawn, we shall see.
