Brendan Rodgers spoke to the media ahead of tomorrow night’s game against Hamilton Accies, revealing that Leigh Griffiths is out of the game, but after having a scan of his calf injury, he should be ‘fine’ for Tuesday’s game against PSG.
Of course this opens the door for new loan signing Odsonne Edouard to make his debut, and according to the manager ‘there is a chance’ he could start the game.
Regarding Patrick Roberts, Rodgers says that as he has not played since the Scottish Cup Final in May it may be too much of an ask for him to start the game, but ‘he will feature’ at some stage.
In other news Moussa Dembele has finally returned to full training, and according to Twitter reports he ‘could be ready’ for Tuesday. We need to be very careful with Dembele so he doesn’t suffer another recurrence of his hamstring injury, so I would leave him out on Tuesday night to be honest.
