THE BIG STORY: Celtic head to Belgium this afternoon as we get ready to play our vital Champions League against Anderlecht tomorrow night. We’ll have updates from Brendan Rodgers’ press conference and a match preview up later tonight but for now you can read our look back at Celtic’s two games against the Belgian side in 2003.

OTHER NEWS: Unsurprisingly Scott Brown won’t be charged with violent conduct after his supposed ‘elbow’ on Rangers’ Alfredo Morelos at the weekend. The incident of course lead to Rangers ‘manager’ Pedro Caixinha making a fool of himself squaring up to Brown, in an incident that didn’t impress Brendan Rodgers. Still on Saturday’s game, check out the video uploaded by Celtic TV focusing on the celebrations after the goals, there’s some hilarious stuff in there.

Neil Lennon has claimed that he will be ‘emotional for 30 seconds’ at Celtic Park on Saturday when he lines up as Hibs manager. I predict that he will get a very good reception from the fans.

ON THIS DAY: In 2009, a Paddy McCourt solo wondergoal was the highlight of a 2-0 win over St Mirren in Paisley, with the other goal coming from Shaun Maloney.

In 2006, a Kenny Miller penalty gave Celtic a 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen at Celtic Park in a Champions League Group F encounter.
