Player ratings from last night’s heavy defeat to PSG:

Craig Gordon - 5: Can’t really be considered at fault for any of the goals, but any night when you concede five goals can’t be good

Anthony Ralston - 5: Didn’t really let the side down when thrown into a game he shouldn’t have been anywhere near starting

Mikael Lustig - 4: Showed why his natural position is right-back, not his fault with the own goal but a bad night none the less

Jozo Simunovic - 4: What was he thinking with that foul on Cavani? Was lucky not to be sent-off and we expect better from a player many think of as our best defender

Kieran Tierney - 5: Was given the runaround by Mbappe but came more into the game in the second-half

Scott Brown - 4: Found it very difficult to get into the game, seems to have played a lot of games already this season and could do with a rest against Ross County on Saturday

Olivier Ntcham - 4: Gave the ball away too often and seemed overawed at times, did improve slightly in the second-half but didn’t have a good game

Stuart Armstrong - 3: Had a very poor game, only incident of note was uncharacteristically hesitating when he had a chance to shoot in a rare Celtic attack, was deservedly taken off at half-time

Patrick Roberts - 4: Probably shouldn’t have started as he was never going to give Ralston any protection, tried to go on a few runs but was marked out of the game

Scott Sinclair - 5: Had a really bad first-half but improved in the second-half and created one of the few chances that we had

Leigh Griffiths - 4: Unsurprisingly found it difficult to get into the game when faced with the thankless task of playing up-front on his own

Substitutes:

Tom Rogic - 5: Replaced Armstrong at half-time but was up against it as the game was over, he played ok though

Odsonne Edouard - n/a: On too late to have any affect on the game

James Forrest - n/a: Same as Edouard
