Celtic-Hearts Player Ratings

Man of the match Callum McGregor celebrates his goal

Player ratings from today’s comfortable win over Hearts:

Craig Gordon - 5: Didn’t have the busiest of games but really should have done better with Goncalves’ goal for Hearts

Mikael Lustig - 6: Spent much of the game marauding forward but was relatively quiet

Nir Bitton - 7: Again did well in his unfamiliar centre-back role, set up the opening goal of the game with a lovely pass to Griffiths

Jozo Simunovic - 6: Coped with nearly all of Hearts’ attacks with style but was out muscled by Goncalves for their goal

Kieran Tierney - 7: A constant threat going forward as usual and defending well too

Scott Brown - 8: Strolled the game in his usual style, contributed a lovely pass for the third goal

Olivier Ntcham - 8: Very neat and tidy in possession, will hopefully start taking more shots on goal

James Forrest - 6: A quieter game than he had against Rosenborg, but still managed to have one decent effort on goal

Callum McGregor - 9: Brilliant performance from the man of the match capped off with a deserved goal

Scott Sinclair - 7: Seemed to drift out of the game at times but still ended up with a goal and an assist

Leigh Griffiths - 8: You would never have thought he is just back from injury, bullied the Hearts defence and scored a deserved brace

Substitutes:

Jonny Hayes - 5: Seen a bit of the ball, put in his one decent cross towards the end of the game

Tom Rogic - n/a: On too late to have any real impact

Stuart Armstrong - n/a: Same as Rogic
