THE BIG STORY: With Patrick Roberts finally completing his loan deal until the end of the season, the race is on for Celtic to get some more deals done before Thursday night’s deadline, with reports suggesting that we are after both a centre-half and a striker, with no concrete names as yet mentioned. Naturally we’ll keep you updated on any breaking transfer news, but for now let’s hear from the returning - and new Celtic number 7 - Patrick Roberts.

ON THIS DAY: In 2004, a late Alan Thompson swerving thunderbolt gave Celtic a 1-0 victory over Rangers at Celtic Park.

In 2007, Celtic defeated Spartak Moscow on penalties after an epic 1-1 draw at Celtic Park in the Champions League Play-Offs. Our mates at GIGPOD will have a podcast up later today celebrating the 10th anniversary of this game, featuring interviews with players from both teams, whilst waiting for that you can watch the penalty shoot-out below.
