THE BIG STORY: The draw for the Group Stages of the Champions League takes place today at 5:00PM in Monaco - and naturally we’re have plenty of coverage. Celtic find ourselves in Pot Four, and we’ll be guaranteed some big nights of football at Celtic Park no matter who we draw. The list of the team in each of the four Pots is below:

A good draw would be Real Madrid, Porto and Anderlecht, a mix of glamour ties and winnable games, whilst a group containing Bayern Munich, PSG and Napoli would be a bit of a nightmare. Avoiding Barcelona - as we always seem to play them in the CL - would also be most welcome.
OTHER NEWS: Oddly quiet on the transfer rumour front, at the time of writing Rivaldo Coetzee hadn’t been confirmed as a Celtic player although it seems to be imminent, no news on Patrick Roberts either, and after all the ‘talk’ about Jozo Simunovic, he seemed to show where his future lay in the tweet below.

No doubt there will be more transfer rumours to come, we’ll keep you updated.
ON THIS DAY: In 1996, Celtic defeated Kilmarnock 3-1 at Rugby Park. It was a good day for two of ‘the three amigos’, as Paolo Di Canio scored his first Celtic goal and Jorge Cadete also getting on the scoresheet. Andy Thom scored the other goal. Match highlights are below.
