KILMARNOCK V CELTIC (SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP: SATURDAY 19TH AUGUST; 12:30 PM)

Another day, another game as Celtic’s busy schedule continues with a Saturday lunchtime visit to Rugby Park, where Celtic will be aiming to make it three league wins out of three against Kilmarnock.

Team Selection: With the game against Astana only three days away, it seems likely that Celtic will make more than a few changes from the team that hammered Astana 5-0 on Wednesday night. At the back, Kristoffer Ajer could well be in line for a start, so could Cristian Gamboa. Further forward, Stuart Armstrong could celebrate his new contract with a start and if fit Jonny Hayes will be involved. Leigh Griffiths could well get an hour as he continues on the road to full fitness.

Previous Meetings: The teams have already met this season, Celtic cruising to a 5-0 victory in the Betfred Cup, with Kieran Tierney’s 40 yard wondergoal the highlight.

Prediction: Even if we make a host of changes, the fringe players should do enough to get the three points.
