Some news ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League play-off first leg against Astana at Celtic Park:
Leigh Griffiths has declared himself to be ‘raring to go’ ahead of the game, which is a relief as he has been struggling with injury and we have no strikers fit apart from him.

Talking of players, Brendan Rodgers has said that there is ‘nothing to report’ in our attempts to sign Patrick Roberts or any other players, and that the squad as it is is ‘strong enough’ to defeat Astana. Reading between the lines, it looks to me like no new signings ahead of tonight’s deadline.
