THE BIG STORY: Celtic's statement that the SPFL should examine Rangers' use of EBTs is certainly intriguing, as it suggests that the club could be favour of Rangers losing the honours they gained whilst using the illegal EBTs. As the Scottish FA seem to think Rangers did nothing wrong - ha! - and most other clubs in Scotland seem to be gripped by inertia, looks like it'll be up to Celtic's fans and the club to try and get justice served. In my opinion, Rangers should be stripped of the honours they won but they shouldn't be awarded to Celtic and other clubs, they should be left vacant, so that people will always remember the illegal actions of the club that once were Celtic's rivals.

OTHER NEWS: GIGPOD is back! The first episode of the new season looks at pre-season friendlies of the past, transfer comings and goings, and has a laugh at Rangers. You can listen here.

Scott Sinclair has advised his team-mate Stuart Armstrong to commit his future to Celtic, whilst Brendan Rodgers made a couple of interesting comments: firstly, he said that Eboue Kouassi still has a big future ahead of him at Celtic, and that he is only missing pre-season games as he is injured. Good to hear that Rodgers still has faith in the player after a quiet start to his Celtic career. Secondly, the Celtic boss suggested that Kieran Tierney could play as a centre-half for both Celtic and Scotland in the future. Not sure about that one.
