THE BIG STORY: Celtic's alleged pursuit of Chelsea's Charly Musonda, with our very own Dedryck Boyata declaring him an 'unbelievable' talent. Interestingly enough, Boyata also revealed that Musonda was at Celtic's 3-1 victory over St Johnstone in May. On the other hand, Daily Mail journalist Stephen McGowan, who is...'connected' at Celtic, stated on twitter that any move for the player won't be happening any time soon.
Not imminent.

So perhaps Musonda isn't the 'top quality' player that Brendan Rodgers has suggested that Celtic are close to signing, we shall know more soon enough.
OTHER NEWS: Brendan Rodgers is already a fan of Jonny Hayes, describing him as an 'excellent' player.
Mikael Lustig has admitted that he played poorly in the friendly against Rapid Vienna, but that he will be up to speed in time for the Champions League qualifiers.
ON THIS DAY: In 1987, Billy Stark signed for Celtic from Aberdeen for only £75,000. Stark was 31 when he signed and people thought his best days were behind him, but in his first season he won the league and cup double. The next season he again won the Scottish Cup before leaving Celtic in 1990 to join up with Tommy Burns at Kilmarnock. Stark would of course return to Celtic as Tommy Burns' assistant manager. Included below is footage of his winning goal against Rangers in August 1987.
