THE BIG STORY: The dispute between Celtic and the Green Brigade is still the main topic at the moment and with the Green Brigade’s statement yesterday showing that they won’t be changing their attitudes anytime soon, the dispute will seemingly continue for a while yet. You can read the Green Brigade’s statement here and we wrote about the dispute here. It seems imperative that both sides reach some sort of compromise soon, but it seems unlikely that will be happening any time soon.

ON THIS DAY: In 1995, the now iconic Celtic Huddle was performed for the very first time, in a friendly against Kickers Emden. It was the brainchild of Tony Mowbray, felt that it would show a collective spirit of the players as one. It is now a part of every game, has been adopted by the fans, is usually part of every major Celtic celebration and is entrenched into Celtic folklore. Hail, Hail to the Huddle!
