BIZARRE BUT TRUE: LEIGH GRIFFITHS IS HIT WITH UEFA CHARGE

Leigh Griffiths has been charged by UEFA for “provoking spectators at the end of the game” after he tied a scarf around a goalpost after the end of the game against those nice bottle throwing Linfield lads. Tying a scarf around a goalpost undeniably one of football’s biggest crimes, up there with spitting. Linfield have also been charged for the objects thrown on the pitch and Celtic have a charge because we picked up five bookings...one of which of course was Griffiths’ booking for ‘time-wasting’. Congratulations to UEFA for making the SFA’s decisions look normal by comparison.
