Player Ratings from the comfortable victory over Linfield in Belfast:

Craig Gordon - 5: Had practically nothing to do the entire game.

Mikael Lustig - 6: Spent most of the match going forward instead of defending, unlucky with a shot that went just wide before half-time.

Jozo Simunovic - 6: Didn’t really have much to do, but coped well with what he did have

Erik Sviatchenko - 5: Seemed ill-at-ease at times in the second half, wasn’t helped with a back injury that he suffered.

Kieran Tierney - 6: Wasn’t as explosive as usual going forward, but had a decent enough game.

Scott Brown - 7: As expected, revelled in the atmosphere and controlled the midfield.

Stuart Armstrong - 6: A quiet game by his high standards, denied by a great Carroll save in the second half.

Tom Rogic - 8: Brilliant performance, full of deft touches and passes, capped off with a fine goal.

Scott Sinclair - 8: Great performance, constant threat to Linfield, and got a goal to shu their booing fans up.

Leigh Griffiths - 6: Set up Rogic’s goal, had a goal disallowed and was booked for having a bottle thrown at him. A mixed night.
