THE BIG STORY: Celtic yesterday officially announced the departures of Efe Ambrose and Eoghan O'Connell. Ambrose, who has signed a two year deal at Hibs, won four league titles, a Scottish Cup and a League Cup during his time at the club, will be remembered for being a part of the team that defeated Barcelona 2-1 and reached the last sixteen of the Champions League, as well as his somersault celebrations and his propensity for making daft mistakes. O'Connell, who has joined Bury, found it hard to break into the first team but did well enough when involved at the start of the season. We wish both players well and have no doubt that Efe will receive a good ovation when he returns to Celtic Park with Hibs next season.

OTHER NEWS: Celtic have announced that over 50,000 season tickets have been sold so far ahead of next season, the appetite to see Celtic is continuing, and it's great to see.

Yet another twist in the Jonny Hayes saga, as Cardiff have ended their interest in him. It now seems inevitable that he will end up at Celtic, providing that we are still interested in him of course. We'll keep you updated.

Tom Rogic scored the winning goal for Australia in their 3-2 win over Saudi Arabia yesterday, it was one of his trademark classics, and you can see it below.
