THE BIG STORY: After the frenzy of rumours yesterday things are thankfully a lot quieter this morning, with the main story concerning former Celt Victor Van Dijk's proposed transfer from Southampton to Liverpool. As Celtic put a sell-on clause - thought to be as much as 10% - in Van Dijk's transfer to Southampton, we stand earn a good bit of money from Van Dijk's move to Liverpool, which could be for as much as £50 million, which would net Celtic around £5 million. We'll keep you updated on this. There's no further news on the possible Jonny Hayes or Patrick Roberts transfers, I expect that the Hayes transfer will be concluded one way or another soon though.

SITE NEWS: I wrote a season 2016/17 Celtic player ratings feature for the renowned Scottish Fitba' blog/podcast The Terrace, you can read it here.
