THE BIG STORY: Brendan Rodgers has once more reiterated that Stuart Armstrong will commit his future to Celtic by signing a new contract, stating that the player is 'happy' at Celtic. It's best for all concerned that a solution is found soon, as Armstrong has only 12 months left on his contract, and if a new deal can't be agreed then we'd unfortunately have to sell him as soon as possible...but I, like Brendan Rodgers, am confident that the player will stay at Celtic. Famous last words.

OTHER NEWS: Brendan Rodgers also revealed that Kolo Toure is set to stay at Celtic, but he is as yet undecided if Toure will be a player or a coach this forthcoming season.

The big story from yesterday was Celtic's signing of Kundai Benyu, who spoke of his delight at joining the Scottish Champions.
